It's a fraction 1 over 21. And yes, fractions are just numbers being divided so you could say that x > -.0476190476(continued...) but most people will represent it as a fraction. |

| Come on the algebra isnt that hard 2(5x - 3) + 4 = 6x - 1 Use distributive prop. 2*5x=10x 2*3=6 10x - 6 + 4 = 6x -1 Change the - to + a negitive 10x + (-6) + 4= 6x + (-1) Now solve. -6 + 4= -2 10x + -2 = 6x + (-1) Now add 1 to -2x reverse to - (-1) or +1 10x + -1 = 6x Now subtract 10x-6x -1 = 4x Now divide by 4 -1 = 4x ______ 4 4 Now put it all together .25 or 1/4 = x OR x= .25 or 1/4 If I did something wrong I will just type it out with out instructions It is kind of hard to remember what you are doing. If I got it wrong I will do it again just to show you I know what to do.  ______________________________  |
